    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Maestro or The Running Fox E-Gift Card online. 

    We accept: MasterCard, Visa and Maestro, Cash or the Running Fox Gift Voucher for offline and email orders.

    Ordering and Delivery

    Can I place an order without creating an account?

    Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account. Just visit https://runningfoxbakery.co.uk/account/register and follow the instructions on-screen.

    Where is my order confirmation?

    This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at runningfoxcafe@gmail.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

    Why has my order been cancelled?

    We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.

    How do I cancel my order?

    There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via runningfoxcafe@gmail.com, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed.

    Where do you deliver to and how much is delivery?

    With the reopening of our coffee shops, we've decided to reduce our delivery days to Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This is to help us ensure we can still deliver the best possible service to all of our lovely Foxy customers.

    Local Delivery

    We offer a Local Delivery service for orders over £15. Charges are £3.50 or £5.00 depending on location.

    10 Mile Radius of Felton - £3.50. Delivery days are every day except Monday.

    20 Mile Radius of Felton -  £5.00. Delivery days are every day except Monday.

    We use Royal Mail £2.00 per order.

    National Delivery

    We use Royal Mail and FedEx for all deliveries outside of our Local Delivery area.

    Royal Mail delivery - £3.50 within 3 - 4 working days.

    FedEx Delivery - £5.95 for orders over 2kg

     

    Free Delivery

    We now offer free delivery on orders over £100.

    Covid 19

    Are you open during lockdown?

    Our shops are open between 8.30am and 5pm. They are also open for Click & Collect order collections between 8.30am and 5pm.

    Our online shop is jam-packed full of goodies, you can find the perfect gift, or treat yourself. We also offer a Local Delivery service so there is no need to miss out.

    For any customers visiting to shops we ask you use the hand sanitiser provided before entering, wear a face mask and practice social distancing to keep you and others safe.

    How are you keeping customers safe?

    • Where possible we have a seperate entrance and exit.
    • All customers must use the hand sanitiser provided at the entrance.
    • All customers must wear a face mask when not sat at their table or when in the shop.
    • We are taking customer temperatures and contact details on arrival.
    • We are registered with NHS Track & Trace and have a QR code.
    • We have limited table numbers to a maximum of six customers per table.
    • We have increased the space between tables for social distancing as well as introducing clear screens between some seating areas.
    • All our staff wear facemasks and have been trained to hand wash regularly, follow strict personal hygene measures and are aware of what to do should they develop COVID 19 symptoms themselves.
    • We have increased cleaning and sanitaisation of all areas.

    My gift voucher has recently expired or is soon going to. What should I do?

    We have extended the expiry date on all gift vouchers until November 2022. There is no need to get in touch to let us know - just bring your voucher with you when you are able to visit.

    If you would like to use your voucher for an order for delivery or collection, please email runningfoxcafe@gmail.com and a member of our team will be happy to help.

    Unfortunately, at this time Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed in our online shop.

    Visiting Us

    Where is The Running Fox?

    We have three beautiful Cafes located in the picturesque Northumberland villages of Felton, Shilbottle and Longframlington.

    All are within easy reach of Alnwick, Alnmouth, Warkworth and the beautiful Northumberland Coast AONB.

     

    When can I visit The Running Fox?

    Our shops are open between 8.30am and 5pm. The shops are also open for Click and Collect order collections.

    Join us at any of our Cafes for:

    • Breakfast - 8:30am until 11:30am
    • Lunch - served from 11:45am
    • Afternoon Tea - served from 11:30am

    Do you have a car park?

    We have ample free customer parking to rear of Cafes at Shilbottle and Longframlington.

    At Felton, free roadside parking is available nearby, although we do ask our customers to park considerately so as not to upset our lovely neighbours.

    How do I book a table?

    You can book a table online, by calling us on 01665 660721, or by emailing us at runningfoxcafe@gmail.com Please note, it is not possible to book a table outside.

    I have a food allergy/special dietry requirement. What can I order?

    Please note that here at The Running Fox we do not operate in an allergen free environment.

    If you are visiting us and have an allergy or a special dietary requirement, please inform a member of the team and they will be happy to help. We usually have vegetarian, vegan, no added gluten and no added dairy options available.

    Is there disabled access?

    We  have easy diabled access at our Shilbottle and Longframlington Cafes. However, access at Felton is limited.

    Do you have any outside tables?

    All of our cafes have outside seating areas so that you can enjoy Northumberland country life on a beautiful day.

    Felton has limited outdoor seating, but Longframlington and Shilbottle have larger outdoor seating areas.

    Please note, it is not possible to book a table outside.

    Do you have highchairs and a children's menu?

    Here at The Running Fox, we love to look after evryone's needs - big or small. That's why we have created a Very Important Little Person menu, offering a range of yummy Foxy snacks and meals for your little one to enjoy.

    Highchairs are available too. Please request one when you book a table or ask a member of staff on arrival.

    Are your Cafes dog friendly?

    We love (well behaved!) dogs at The Running Fox, and these furry friends are most welcome in the outside seating areas at all of our Cafes.

    Dogs are welcome inside the Cafes in Shilbottle and Longframlington. Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs in our Felton Cafe due to the layout of the building.

    4 Legged Friend Gift Voucher - from £4.50

    Are you barking mad for the special dog in your life? Choose one of our 4-Legged Friend Gift Vouchers for the perfect pooch treat.

    How long are the vouchers/e-gift cards valid?

    E-Gift Cards are valid for a year from the date of purchase.

    All of our Gift Vouchers are valid until November 2022. But with an abundance of delicious produce here to temp you, we are sure you will use them much sooner than that!

    How do I buy The Running Fox gift vouchers/e-gift card?

    Our Gift Vouchers can be bought online or in person in all of our Cafes.

    If you buy a Gift Voucher online, the voucher will be posted to you by 1st Class post or you can select to collect them from one of our Cafes via Click & Collect.

    The E-Gift Card can only be purchased online and will be sent by email or text to the buyer.

     

    How do I redeem my gift voucher/e-gift card?

    To use a Gift Voucher simply visit us at any of our Cafes or Shops to enjoy your special treat! Please note, if you woud like Afternoon Tea booking are essential.

    If you would like to use your Gift Voucher for your order for delivery, please email runningfoxcafe@gmail.com and a member of our team will be happy to help, as currently Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed in our onile shop.

    E-Gift Cards can only be redeemed in our online Shop (excluding Click & Collect).
